Introduction
A premade Linux VM (with all of the required software preinstalled) has been created by observatory staff to provide a straightforward path to remote observing on Windows machines.
Pre-requisites
Most of the software pre-requisites exist within the virtual machine. You will need software to run the virtual machine. Some examples include: Note that some users have had issues with VirtualBox not working if Hyper-V was running on Windows 10/11.
