Sunset, Sunrise, 23-24 September, 2001: The movie begins in the late afternoon. The sun sets over the South Bay; city lights appear; stars set and airplanes move in and out of Bay Area airports; a fog forms over the city; the sky lightens and the shadows withdraw from the foothills.
