This morning a large reptile, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the Godzilla of movie fame, attacked Lick Observatory. Residents of the small mountain community of Mount Hamilton quickly gathered their loved ones and fled the scene. Emergency crews from the Santa Clara Sheriff's Department and CalFire are on their way to deal with the menace.

"We don't know why Godzilla has targeted Lick Observatory, but we suspect the Japanese astronomers at the Subaru telescope may be behind this," said Dr. W. W. Campbell, director of Lick Observatory.
