| This panel displays Local Sidereal Time (LST), Pacific Standard
Time (PST, never Dayltight Time), and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT or UT). POCO gets its
time fropm the Nickel POCO server, athens.ucolick.org, which in turn obtains its time
signal from the Netwrork Time Service. Note that the time used by the data-taking
software, and therefore the time appearing in data FITS headers, is derived from a
different machine (though also ultimately from NTS). |
