| The three buttons in this panel enable/disable telescope movement,
start/stop tracking, and enable/disable autodome. Telescope movement must be enabled
for POCO to perform any of its pointing functions. Tracking and Autodome enable telescope
tracking and automatic dome folowing respectively. Autodome, in addition to On
and Off, has a Manual setting. "Manual" releases the dome from POCO
control allowing the operator to manually rotate the dome using a switch on the observing
floor (this can be helpful when using the finder scope which is sometimes blocked when
in autodome).
Notes:
If an "E-Stop" condition is present, as indicated
by a red E-Stop warning in the top menu bar of the Main WIndow, none of these functions will enable
until the condition is cleared.
Tracking and autodome turn off if a telescope limit is reached. They must be reset when the limit
is cleared.
When tracking is off, the label on the RA entry box changes to "HA". |
