pococ

Pococ is a software client that displays the 3-m telescope position (RA, Dec, and HA), TUB rotation angle (in degrees E of N), zenith distance (ZD), airmass, sidereal time (ST), universal time (UT) and pacific standard time (PST).

Pococ is started from any of the observatory user computers by typing pococ at the prompt.

The button in the upper right corner allows one to change the size of the pococ display to either larger or smaller.

The bottom line denotes which telescope and focus (or diagonal mirror position for Cassegrain focus) and the source of the information (which should be "Tel: Shane" for the Shane 3-m).

Pococ may also be invoked with the command pococ+ to add a line which shows the current UT date and Julian day of the year.
